Our primary goal in all nutritional plans is to teach you what foods are healthy, toxic-free and safe to eat. Today understanding how to read labels, ingredients and recipes is very difficult. You will begin to know how to identify harmful ingredients and instead, choose a healthier alternative.
We also specialize in teaching parents how to successfully manage neurological disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADD/ADHD and behavior problems with healthy, wholefood menu planning. We use templates, recipes, food journals and menu planning. Each person is unique and requires individual strategies to overcome food and nutrition challenges. Thus, our coaching sessions are individualized to fit your needs.
Functional Nutrition looks at how food affects your body on the cellular level. Food is much more than calories, so we are looking at how tiny molecules within your food react within your body. In doing so, we address your health concerns by looking into your bodily systems such as your gut, endocrine system, immune system and blood. When then utilize your in-depth history, lab work findings and food/lifestyle journal to determine you functional nutritional management plan.
Finding out if your cells are deficient in certain vitamins and minerals is another crucial tool towards managing health problems successfully.Your cells only function at their optimum and best potential when you provide them with high quality cell-loving nutrients and minerals. If cells are missing a specific nutrient it needs to function, it can and will go into a crisis mode trying to function with what it is missing and badly needs.
